the perfect balance
I looked into the mirror today and tried to tell myself:
I am pretty, I am smart.
I cracked up.
sorry...I can't lie to myself, IN MY OWN FACE.
dude, we all know pretty is diana agron.
and beautiful is audrey hepburn.
smart is einstein.
genius is...still einstein.

then i thought to myself,
why can't i think of myself as pretty?
i mean, sure, i don't think i'm ugly, but it sure as hell takes more than the man in the mirror, woman in this case, to be pretty.
and who? in their right minds, think they are awesome?
no teenager (unless a cheerio or jock, both equally brainless), will find themselves pretty or handsome and not find something they don't like on their face ( that no one else sees.)
that's pretty much the way people work, i guess.
and if you do not belong to the above category,
you are:
a)narcisstic(however you spell that)
b)just went for a motivational talk
c)just met a bimbo and is feeling glad you ain't pretty and dumb at the same time.

conclusion:
to always feel good about yourself and not be narcisstic,
find a narcisstic or optimistic wingman and stick together.

balanced,
jinga
